Swan Lake is the collective love-child of celebrated songwriters Dan Bejar (of Destroyer and New Pornographers), Spencer Krug (of Sunset Rubdown and Wolf Parade) and Carey Mercer (of Frog Eyes and Blackout Beach). They are releasing a new album on March 24th entitled Enemy Mine by way of Jagjaguwar Records. Their first album, Beast Moans, was released in 2006 on the same label. The band claims to take a more focused effort on collaborative song writing on Enemy Mine, instead of the avant-garde mash of styles heard on Beast Moans.
