I'm pretty excited that one of our favorite bands is coming out with a new album in a couple of weeks. Anyone who has ridden shotgun with Let is familiar with the Silversun Pickups. Their first full length album Carnavas came out in 2006 and really broke the band out. Two of the four singles from the album reached the top 10 on Billboard Modern Rock in 2007. They have a really cool sound blending soft melodies with heavy fuzz that shows a significant influence from the Smashing Pumpkins and My Blood Valentine. The new album is called Swoon and comes out April 14th. I added the first single from Swoon, "Panic Switch," to the playlist.
