From Spin.com:Alison Mosshart, vocalist for punk minimalists the Kills, and Jack White have joined forces as the Dead Weather, a new band also featuring White's Raconteurs bandmate Jack Lawrence and Queens of the Stone Age's Dean Fertita. Mosshart will sing, Lawrence will play bass, Fertita will play guitar -- and White will be on drums and vocals. Their debut single, "Hang You From the Heavens", is expected to be on iTunes tomorrow and is available for stream below, as well as "Are Friends Electric?".
