It's not that I don't like Passion Pit. I like them fine, but it was more I was just not impressed until today. I felt like they could do better with what they had. They had the potential to take the synth pop of yesterday and move it forward. Sure "Sleepyhead" was fun, but I just didn't get excited about the EP like I thought I was going to.
Now, with their debut LP Manners due out on May 19, Passion Pit, Manners in particular, is making a move up on my 'to listen' list of the spring. Adam informed me that they premiered one of the new songs today, "Moths Wings," and I must say I am impressed. It's definitely the best Passion Pit song to date. Check it out below.
