JBM

JBM is the moniker of New York's Jesse Marchant. I caught this fella with Rogue Wave at Bottletree Cafe in Birmingham a few weeks back and really enjoyed it. His only full length album, Not Even in July, will be re-released with Partisan Records later this month. The quiet acoustics were recorded in a church in upstate New York which suits the reverb filled vocals reminiscent of Jim James. Check out his Daytrotter Session... and the record. It's good.
